Does Simple Chat work with ShipHero?

Yes. If you use ShipHero for warehouse management, Simple Chat can connect using your configured credentials and warehouse settings. Where available, it can pull warehouse-level fulfillment context such as item status, shipment details, labels, and tracking URLs.

When ShipHero applies

ShipHero integration matters for merchants who fulfill through ShipHero rather than relying only on Shopify's default fulfillment view.

  • Connect when your team answers "where is my order?" from warehouse reality, not just the Shopify order screen.
  • Enable the integration in Simple Chat after ShipHero is part of your operations stack.

Without ShipHero configured, support still uses Shopify data; ShipHero adds deeper WMS context when you use it.

What you set up

Connection is merchant-controlled in the app.

  • Configured credentials — link your ShipHero account so Simple Chat can query on your behalf.
  • Warehouse settings — align which warehouse context the app should use for lookups and tools.

Treat credentials like any other production secret: configure once, verify with a test order conversation, then leave enabled for ongoing support.

What the AI can use in conversations

Where available, fulfillment tools and context can include:

  • Item status — line-level or package-level state in the warehouse.
  • Shipment details — what shipped, when, and how it relates to the customer's order.
  • Labels — shipping label information relevant to the case.
  • Tracking URLs — links customers or staff can follow for carrier updates.

Availability depends on what ShipHero returns for a given order and your configuration; the AI uses this context to give informed answers instead of generic "check your email" replies when data exists.
