How do Simple Chat back-in-stock alerts work?
When a product is out of stock, customers can opt in from a storefront notify-me button without opening chat, or from a conversation with the assistant. Simple Chat records the variant and email, then sends restock email to every subscriber for that variant when inventory returns, using the template, subject line, and restock threshold you set.
How do back-in-stock apps charge?
Paid plans commonly start around $10 to $19.99 per month, with free tiers capped at a handful of alerts. SMS and WhatsApp are usually extra. Simple Chat does not add a waitlist subscription; restock email is part of the product.
Do I still need Klaviyo or SMS for restock alerts?
