Can I customize the thinking messages?
No. Simple Chat manages the short progress messages shown while the assistant works, such as "Checking order." You can't edit or disable them in merchant settings.
You can customize the assistant's actual replies through your instructions and FAQs. Its name, title, and avatar are in Branding, and widget appearance is in the Shopify theme editor.
