Can I change the AI assistant's name, title, and avatar?
Yes. You can change all three in Branding settings.
- Open Branding in Simple Chat.
- Enter the assistant's name and title. A blank title displays AI Assistant.
- Upload a square PNG or paste SVG markup for the avatar.
- Save and check the widget on mobile and desktop.
For PNG avatars, 128 × 128 pixels is recommended. Supported sizes are 64–512 pixels, up to 256 KB.
The title appears in the storefront and checkout widgets. These settings apply to the assistant; staff use their own profiles. Widget colors and corner radius are set in the Shopify theme editor.
