How do I customize the chat widget appearance?
Use the Simple Chat controls in the Shopify theme editor to change colors, corner radius, and light or dark appearance.
- Go to Online Store > Themes in Shopify Admin.
- Click Customize on the theme you want to edit.
- Select the Simple Chat app block or embed.
- Adjust the appearance settings.
- Check the mobile and desktop previews.
- Save the theme.
Repeat this for each theme that uses chat. The assistant's name, title, and avatar are changed separately in Simple Chat's Branding settings.
