Can I customize the review prompt for my Simple Chat account?
Eligible merchants can receive a review prompt written for their business rather than the standard wording.
Availability: Custom review prompts are currently limited to eligible accounts. They are not presented as a plan feature or a setting available to every merchant, so eligibility should not be inferred from your Simple Chat plan.
What the custom wording affects
The customization applies to the review request Simple Chat shows you. Its wording is stored against your account, which keeps it specific to your business instead of changing a shared prompt for other merchants.
It does not rewrite your customer-facing assistant, merchant instructions, FAQs, email replies, or storefront widget. Those remain under their existing settings. If you want to change how the assistant talks to customers, use your merchant instructions and FAQ content rather than treating the review prompt as an AI behavior setting.
Only authorized Simple Chat support staff can submit account-specific review prompt wording through the verified flow. There is no separate self-service editor described for this release.
When your account details have changed
Contact Simple Chat support if the prompt relies on business context that is no longer accurate. Support staff can inspect the related task, activity, and journal history before making a correction, so they can see how the saved context was established rather than replacing it without evidence.
Corrections to saved account context are audited. That matters when your store name, operating details, or other relevant circumstances change: support can update the stored context while retaining a record of the work behind the change. The corrected information stays bound to your account and does not become guidance for another merchant.
